Standing up for our Horses

The Friends of the Peruvian Horse website is meant to start you on the journey to good herd management, sound hoof care, preventing injuries, and being able to diagnose and treat injuries in a more knowledgeable way when they do happen. We want to help horse owners in finding new ways to ride and enjoy their Peruvian Horses. It is a positive place for Peruvian Horse owners and perspective horse owners to get good scientifically valid information about their equine friends.

In the future we will include, more articles on conformation, equitation, and the latest medical and training information for equine athletes. This website is also for the many Peruvian Horse breeders who have produced strong healthy horses year after year, generation after generation. They will now have a central place to send their clients to help them find out about good horse care for their Peruvian Horses.
